I am proud to be the middle child of seven. I’m not sure why. It’s not like I had anything to do with it.
I was the first of my siblings to be born under insurance. Is it any wonder I spent over 30 years in the insurance industry?
I often joke that I was doomed from the womb to be in insurance.
I worked for insurance companies, brokerage and consulting firms and was even a dental hygienist for a while. You could say I’ve been on both sides of the health care chair.
I maintain an active health/life insurance agent license even though I left the corporate world behind in 2008 to start my own business writing company.
I like to keep the technical side well-tuned.
Keep it Simple
Throughout my corporate career, I loved to write – training manuals, provider marketing brochures, sales and provider newsletters.
I have a passion for making the complex simple. Let’s just say health care and insurance offer me endless opportunities.
About This Blog
I offer business communication tips and downloads at my site, Simply Stated Business.
I knew I could not ignore my health care and insurance roots so I started Simply Stated Health Care. This blog’s goal is to keep health care simple and informative.
I hope you let me know if I am meeting that goal.
I am not an attorney – nor do I play one on TV. You will not find a herewith or pursuant to anywhere on this site from me – promise. That means I do not offer legal advice.
I am also not a physician, I leave both the legal and health care advice to the professionals.
